On October 9th, our physical education classes were joined by youth Rugby Coach Mr. Pat Walsh from Imagine Rugby and Rugby Maryland. Coach Walsh shared his love of the sport with our students while working with Mrs Phillips, Mr Hall, and their intern from Salisbury University, Ms. Brooke Willoughby, to teach our students the necessary skills needed to play the sport of rugby. Our students worked on using the proper technique for passing in the sport of rugby as well as teamwork and communication skills while also learning the rules for playing Flag Rugby. Overall this was a great experience for our students and teachers and Coach Walsh's program donated a set of Flag Rugby equipment to our school so our physical education classes can continue to learn the sport of rugby

Due to lack of responses, we are rescheduling this event.

Congratulations to this week's Power Players who have passed the tests of kindness , knowledge, and bravery! #BeAPowerPlayer
