IS IT THE RIGHT FIT FOR ME?

Careers in cosmetology are a good fit for anyone who likes people and likes helping them feel and look their best. Cosmetologists must stay current on the latest fashion trends and styles, and must also be willing to learn about new products and technologies introduced in the field. Attention to detail and high standards of hygiene/cleanliness are very important. Some cosmetology careers involve standing for long periods of time, so it can be physically demanding work. Most cosmetologists will work at least some hours on weekends and in the evening.
